Introduce ourselves, discuss direction, and have some lightning talks!

Date: Monday, May 9th @ 7pm

This meeting will be our inaugural meeting. Pizza/drinks will be provided. We'll spend the first hour doing introductions and discussing what people want to see from the group, where interests lie as a group, we'll discuss communication tools (IRC? Mailing lists? Both? Neither? Other?), websites, and whatever other diabolical ideas anyone has.

The second hour will provide an opportunity for anyone to get up and give a 5-10 minute "lightning talk" about something they're doing with Python, some aspect of the language, a new cool tool you've used, etc.

Please join us, and PLEASE pass on the news that there is now a Python user group in Princeton! If you or your company would like to sponsor the group by providing funds for food, space for special events or sprints, etc., please click the "Sponsor Us" link on this site.

Thanks to the Princeton Public Library! (and Future Meetings)

A special thanks goes to our newest sponsor, the Princeton Public Library, who has very generously granted us the use of their community meeting space and A/V equipment for our first six months to help our fledgling community group launch itself into existence.

After our May 9th inaugural meeting, we will be meeting at the Princeton Public Library on the second Wednesday of everymonth at 6:30 PM. Mark your calendars!!
