May nugget and updates--Tax time!
Date: Monday, May 10th @ 7pm
This month's novice nugget is "self self self why is python so self-ish?"Then after intro's we'll do updates, which could include:
- using untangle to turn xml into python objects for a holdings parser
- using opencv and pytesseract to extract info from IRS W-2 forms
and your questions/projects/ideas, regardless of tax relevance!
Generally we share updates on our software projects, propose new projects, ask questions, or just listen We start with our novice nugget right at 7pm, and then we all introduce ourselves and offer topics to discuss. All topics open source are welcome (Princeton and Python just alliterate irresistibly :)
