Stacy Sern: An Introduction to Twisted

Twisted is an event-driven, networking library for Python. The talk aims to explain what that means and give an overview of some of the main Twisted concepts. It will also describe some of the functionality that Twisted offers out of the box.Stacey Sern is returning to programming after a long hiatus. During the summer of 2013, she was an Outreach Program for Women intern working on Twisted mail. She spent much of the rest of 2013 at Hacker School, a writer's retreat for programmers. Previously, she developed real-time, embedded software in the telecom industry.
